Service Description

A common bucket list and popular activity to do while in general Big Bend region is visiting The Mcdonald Observatory just outside of Ft. Davis within the beautiful and much different landscape of the Davis Mountain ranges. The Mcdonald Observatory not only has several telescopes to star gaze from but it is also home to one of the largest optical telescopes in the world. The Dome of the 10 m Hobby-Eberly Telescope. McDonald Observatory is equipped with a wide range of instrumentation for imaging and spectroscopy in the optical and infrared spectra, and operates the first lunar laser ranging station. Not to mention, some of the darkest skies in the entire country! Book us as your private driver/vehicle and ask about all day tours to several other things to do in the Ft.
