Take your time to explore at the ideal pace: the steady stride of a dependable horse. West Texas Adventure Co. employs exceptionally well-trained horses suitable for riders of any experience level.
Your guide, who takes care of all the prep work, will help you saddle up for an informative and relaxed town tour. The ride will last for around two hours, during which time you’ll visit renowned sites, explore downtown, and attract the envy of pedestrians. One caveat: if you don’t own a cowboy hat, you might be sorely tempted to buy one.

We’ve partnered with two local ranches - which embody different aspects of this vibrant desert ecosystem - for a truly panoramic experience. Also, your trek needs not end at the border. Adventurers who appreciate new experiences can cross into Boquillas, a small border town renowned for its charm and cultural authenticity.
Car Rental & Shuttle Experiences
Let us transport you to or from Marfa. Our comfortable vehicle can accommodate up to six passengers with luggage to or from the airports in El Paso, Midland/Odessa, and Marfa. The cost of this service is a flat fee, regardless of the number of transported guests. Outside factors such as late or early arrivals/departures, event weekends, or holidays may result in additional charges. For exact pricing, contact us prior to booking.
Want to be ferried around town in style? The classic cool of our 1969 Ford LTD provides the perfect accent to the picturesque environs of Marfa and the surrounding area. Your car rental even comes with a driver, so you can make merry and leave the transportation to us. The car is also available for weddings and photo shoots by hourly or daily rates.
